Administrative assistant

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist immigration consultant(s) in immigration cases and applications (e.g. student visa, visitor visa, student permit, and family sponsorship)

  • Prepare business letters and email correspondence to current and prospective clients

  • Draft retainer agreements, initial consultation agreements, invoices, paid invoices, and any documents as required

  • Answer phone calls and follow up calls with clients regarding application updates

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, events, and other activities

  • Monitor and record expenditures and receipts

  • Send out mails and packages through Canada Post, FedEx, and UPS

  • Travel with immigration consultant(s) to and assist in conducting workshops
